Has my PSU blew (short vid clip) or something else?

Hello,

Just watching youtube an hour ago and my pc just cut off - like switching it off from the mains

short clip there (sorry for quality) on what happens when i turn it on. the fans all move then nothing. Dead.

Spec:

Qx9650/GTX8800/Striker II formula mobo, and usual components.
PSU is (was

) a OZX 850 watt gamestream. had a power supply go on me before in the middle of a game - with a large bang - but nothing at all this time (which makes it even more un-dramatic)

If it is the psu, could anyone give me any recommendations for another one cheap - as getting a new stystem soon thanks

Does look like the PSU is buggered. Id get this, it will serve your new rig well as well

have u tried jumping the green pin and a black pin from the 24 pin to see if the psu starts?

No, my 50th birthday is next march -- i'd like to see some of it thanks

Hopes it not the GPU xrowen, not got a spare one when my new psu arrives tomorrow. Don't think it would be the GFX card would it?, as it would still try and boot/fans spinning etc...

its v low volts, use a paperclip to jump them then turn it on ie done it loads of times you can even hold the paperclip
