hey guys so ive waited to buy my new build since ive heard all over the site that the prices of intel chips are set to go down sometime in august

so just wondering if thats still the case and any update on specifics?

There was a sudden price drop on the i7 920 in may and i picked one up for £165 retail :D, dont think they will be going back to that till later next year.
 
The 950s are expected to drop by quite a lot at the end of this month, a few others will also change price but not by as much.
 
I have been looking for a new upgrade was thinking of the i7 930 but the prices havent dropped so will wait now until next year or until price drops arrive. with the the double dip recession exspected now i will keep my money in the bank until a bargain arrives.
