HosePipe Ban (North West)

I've received no official correspondence regarding a hose pipe ban, so I'd like to see them try and enforce it to be honest.

Thats what I said in the OP, only if you watch the news would you even know this. I can only imagine a warning for the first offence.

Trouble is, Thames Water have to dig up the roads to fix the pipes and then everyone gets their knickers in a twist about the traffic!

They should fix the pipes, then the reservoirs wouldn't drain so quickly.

True - but the way I see it, I'd rather they forked out and sorted the problems once and for all and be on par with the rest of Europe - then we'd have less cracked pipes owing to the weather, less leaks, less droughts and people can then enjoy the hot summers (when we finally get some!).
