Going to try some overclocking for the first time, but if I have to reset the cmos or bios in case of nothing on screen after increasing the multiplier and/or vcore, apparently my board has this:
"Backup BIOS Image to HDD
Allows the system to copy the BIOS image file to the hard drive. If the system BIOS is corrupted, it will be recovered from this image file. (Default: Enabled)"
http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-_ma770-v.2.0_e.pdf
I presume after I clear the cmos and load bios defaults, I can use this backup, which I assume would contain any custom settings? But I don't know know where this image file is or how I would get it back into the bios. Any ideas?
Also, I was told this: "most BIOS's offer the option to save profiles, save your successful ones and when you have to reset, just reload the profile (already in the BIOS), that is if Gigabyte has it in their bios"
Can I do that with my board?
