You seem awfully picky. What if your future wife/whatever was to have a child and get stuck in her "fat" size 12 (or even bigger god forbid) with skin hanging out, stretchmarks etc. (skin being impossible for some to shed without surgery) Out the door for her then or?

I have no idea. All I can speak for is my current views and what they are based on. If the situation above happened then I wouldn't care if I loved her and wanted to stay with her. You cant speculate on the future or say "well all women lose their looks in time so why bother with looks at all".

That could apply to everything in life, why bother getting good at a sport when you are just going to have to give it up later in life.

Is it strange to work on the basis of being attracted to someone and getting to know them based on that initial attraction?

Most of my girlfriends I have known for a while before I went out with them but there was still an attraction there or we would have just remained friends.
 
The ones complaining about size 12 women being fat are lil skinny runts who are scared of a woman a bit bigger then them, this is known as "little man syndrome"

Size 12 does not mean fat, get over it.
 
Being size 12 does not mean your fat but if you are fat you can also be size 12.

My wife is size 8 at 5ft 5in (approx) but is Asian so of slim build. If she was size 12 I would be able to roll her down the hill. :eek::D.

Based on the following (left = size 8, middle = size 12, right = size 14) picture below, a healthy size 12 is not fat. Unfortunately most of the population is not in that category although by virtue of their jobs requirements, the majority of the pictures in this thread are of attractive healthy size 12 ladies. Based on the pic below, only the size 14 is a bit chubby. Both the size 8 and size 12 have good figures although below size 8 would be too skinny.

Anyone got any pics of unhealthy chubby size 12 ladies to balance the equation ? ;).

Well yes mate, that is because anyone of a smaller size would get lost between your pecs and they would have to send in search and rescue ;).

My view is that I prefer tall slim-average who are physically, exude confidence and hefty dose of brain power.

I'm confortable that is my inbuilt preference. I know one guy that could have any woman he wanted but he knew his type ultimately was "two cushions and a couple of inner tyres" (his words).

I think people are arguing a point and attempting to agree one correct result that you naturally can't because everyone has an unchangeable internal attraction to their own type..

Indeed.

Then again I seriously doubt a bunch of people on an internet forum really affects women that much.

Fortunately it's only a small segment of the population, and generally there's less ignorance around. :)
