Warrenty Question

My mate just bought a new computer I said he can have my old gpu. If he puts it in his computer will it void the warrenty?

On his PC he wil nedd to check the T & C'S of were he purchased the pc from as some companies do allow upgrades ect.

Depending on the make it might have seal's (not the animal) on the case to show whether the sides have been taken off. Also depends where it was from, people like PCW won't care from my experience.

Manufacturers usually make the PCs very user friendly when it comes to peforming upgrades. Thumb screws, quick release tabs, and parts cages are not uncommon. If they don't want upgrades done by the consumer, there will be a sticker that will break if the case is accessed (as Benihana said). Also as RJC said, check the T&C or Warranty guide to make sure.
