Is it just the OCUK cards that come with the free games if so does the gtx 470 and 480 have the same games

Only the OcUK 460 at the moment. So no more extra for the 470/480.

Wow, that is a really good price and a rare and excellent bundle for a 460. Are those that you've got Inno3D?

Thats right the current one are Inno3D, they have nice black PCB aswell :p

They were Inno3D, but only one left, the remaining ones are Sparkle. OcUK brand does not guarantee any specific board partner.

If you want a guaranteed brand then I am afraid the best route is to buy a card thats listed as a brand. :)

Why do I not get the option to collect from store when buying a today only deal?

I appreciate it says "web only" but I am still making the purchase over the web.

It would not cost OCUK any more for me to come to down to the store and collect my order?

edit - I also accept that I'm probably in the extreme minority of customers who may want to do this..

Because then they will end up losing money or something there was a discussion in yesterdays TWO about it.

Forgot to mention no free shipping on the OP Nath

I can appreciate that - its just that the Inno3Ds I have seen look like that one on the pic!

In any case its a really good deal if you want the games, if not, the Gigabyte or MSI work best.

How? You're still paying the same for the item. If there only making the money on the postage then it wouldn't be worth them doing it!

Just to be clear! I'm not asking for free shipping! I just want to purchase the item online and collect it instore like I always do with all my OCUK orders.

If this causes OCUK to loose money then they are clearly making money on the postage.

like i said before i accept that with me living close to the store i am the extreme minority of OCUK's customer base who would like to do this and it's likely just an oversight or some other reason... possibly due to fairness to all etc.

Why ask me, im just repeating what has been said previously.

Collecting in store is technically free shipping :p
Heres one from yesterdays TWO thread to give you the idea:

If we gave you free shipping on these items, the company would loose money,

Hi there

You can buy these in store, but you would pay the normal price, which is £8 more.

TODAY ONLY DEALS are WEB ONLY, not phone or shop. However we can process via the phone or shop at the regular price.

but I don't want to buy it in the shop or on the phone?

I want to buy it on the web and collect it from the shop, like I always do? The transaction is still being processed via the website,

Does the definition of a websale mean that an item has to be shipped, as the sale is still taking place via the website? (will have to google trade descriptions for websales)

I was under the impression that 'Today Only' was helping the 80% customers who don't use the website. How does this work when the deals are for web only?

'80%' who don't get free shipping.

Both wrong. 80% who don't use the Forums.

Out of the 20% who do, probably more than a half isn't eligible for free shipping anyway (or doesn't use it at all).

RynceWynd, didn't you realize that OcUK makes money on shipping as well?

BTW, the news link directs to the Today Deal from two days ago.

Also on the website you are misleading customers who would have thought that you bundled Starcraft 2 with the card. Can someone add 'Trial' to it?

News to me.

seems a bit underhanded to make money on shipping (especially when you look at how ebay tries to stamp out shipping profiting)

oh well then

Every company makes money from shipping, infact its how a lot of companies survive. Those who give free shipping tend to use very cheap 3-7day services and then charge quite a lot for their next day services. Or they sometimes add it to the cost of the product to cover free shipping or prey people buy a collection of parts to cover the cost.

There are very few companies who actually give next day courier shipping for free.

What we shall do in coming weeks is products that are on TODAY ONLY can also be purchased at their normal price in the shop or with free delivery.

A bit off topic gibbo, but do you think the Zotac 460 Amp cards will be available in the next few weeks?
I need a 460 with a quiet fan and displayport out and this card seems to be the only one that matches that criteria.
Reviewers have their hands on them already:

Still amazes me how much people bitch about the free shipping. Its a special deal, if you don't want it don't buy it? It will simply return to the normal price the next day.

Would love to see some case fans or case modding stuffs up for today only. I am sure that would please a lot!
