Sadly this is very true, I'm still on 10.4 as there has been nothing better.

My guess is, these drivers will be very forgettable.

Just out of curiosity, which is the best current ATi driver for a 5850? I've recently purchased this card and i'm using the latest drivers, if there's an older driver that performs better then I want it

What exactly is happening to the mouse? Been playing sc2 for a bile and haven't seen any issues?

Most people overclock using MSI Afterburner, nobody cares in that case because clever people use 2D/3D profiles. No need for the fix tbh. It doesn't affect those who don't overclock.

Older drivers do not perform better, look up some reviews at least. The 10.4s give the least issues though, I jump from them to 10.6 and then 10.7a shortly.
