Im doing a car boot sunday morning.

Any tips?

I havent done one for like 12 years!

I know its a bit random but you never know!

Price everything tonight
Be prepared to sell stuff for less than you want
Leave before the tip shuts then you can tip the rest

do you have a car ?

labels, make sure all stuff has price labels or is in an allocated area for stuff of a certain price, saves people haggling ( my brother tells me )

Yea I have a car. At the moment ive loads of books (bonsai trees, what not to wear, programming) some cd's, and home stuff like candle stick. I should get some labels. Thats a good idea

my bro had a few things robbed, but mostly people trying there luck with uber cheap stuff anyway wanting it for next to nothing
stick to your prices

add 20% to the price you want cause you can bet everyone will try mark you down 20% hence you'll be getting what you wanted for it.

It's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and not a penny more. It's a car boot at the end of the day, not Christie's.

Leicester car boot sale in the local tesco car park it's like a free ride for some of the locals who just nick everything.

Be prepared to be rushed at the start by dealers and oiks, just shut the boot and tell them to go away for 5 minutes.
