ATI 10.8 Beta drivers

Work fine for me, get the same GPU score in vantage that I got with 10.6 which was a massive boost over 10.5 for me.
10.7 made my PC sit there thinking for a while, before moving to a black screen with mouse cursor you can move, 10 secs later desktop, was random.

try that, but if that doesn't work then maybe theres something stoping it or a problem in your os
Funny thing about uninstalling using ATI Catalyst installer - the drivers will be indeed uninstalled but Windows 7 on reboot will revert back to the previous drivers. If you're just upgrading then there's no point in uninstalling them really
