What a good air cooler that compatible with this ram on a Asus P6X58D-E ?

Someone managed to fit those RAM under an NH-D14. The only thing you'd have to watch out though is that the slot closest to the heatsink will have clearance issues. As long as you only have 3 sticks though, you should be fine.

Alternatively, the Silver Arrow is another good cooler but you'd have to move the front fan to the back. The slot closest to the heatsink will also have problems though, just like the Noctua...

Will that effect performance moving silver arrow fan to back ?

Not to keen on the Noctua size what about Venomous X with 2x Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-15 dont really want to change ram for sake of new cooler. Or should i change to AP-14 for lower rpm i heard they dont make much noise but 2x 1850rpm 15's i bet they do make quite a noise.

I didn't try the Silver Arrow in that particular configuration but given that with just the middle fan, the performance was only 1C behind, adding the second fan at the back should be very close to default performance.

The VX is certainly a very solid cooler as well so really, the only thing that it comes down to is price. The Silver Arrow is around £50 including both fans.

They are all good coolers, my vote would be for the Noctua D14.

Very happy with it, comming from a Coolit Domino ALC ;)

those noctuas do get some of the best reviews and temps dont think i like the look of the fans and its massive

True, it is very quiet and cool. You can change the fans though, and for the size, if you want the best (air cooling) :D
