Asus ENGTX460 DirectCU TOP

Gibbo, any chance OCuk are getting this baby in soon and at what price. Have seen it for sale elsewhere for £196 delivered and according to a review I found (not sure I can link to review as it has competitor adverts)it is the best 460 to be had and in benchmarks it beat the 5850 hands down and even beat the 5870 in some. I'm seriously considering getting it.

thats almost the price a local shop near me sells them for and they arent known for beeing cheap.

£196 seem a bit expensive for a GTX460 1GB. While the core speed has be factory overclocked from 675MHz to 775MHz, overclock the card yourself is not difficult at all and almost all GTX460 are guaranteed to overclock to at least 800MHz. Unless for whatever reason you can't overclock the card yourself, you should just get a MSI or Gigabyte GTX460 1GB at £176/£182 and do the overclock the card yourself.

asus always make decent cards though and the cooler should be decent.. but you dont necessarily need to get the TOP version, just the standard Asus gtx 460 CU would do/

TOP version comes with factory overclock by extra 100MHz from 675MHz to 775MHz...along with the extra cost...

there isnt one obviously a lot cheaper like i said ocuk would do it aswell.

The difference is I dont like to mess with graphics cards and invalidate warranties so i try to buy a good brand of card with a good factory overclock. As previously stated this card beats the 5850 and even the 5870 in some benchmarks. Asus TOP cards are widely regarded as one of the best to buy and £196 delivered from an orangey site seemed a good buy to me. Was hoping Ocuk would get this in a bit cheaper.
