but if you're denying it you'd hardly say it on the stand.
The problem is the state of care though. You take every child in to care where abuse is suspected and you are going to end up with a whole load of problems. For a start you will take kids off innocent parents and secondly even an abusive home may well be better than state care provision. There is no better way to mess up a childs chances than by putting them in to our care system. These cases where children are tortured to death are very rare and basing your system around them is going to cause more problems than it solves.
Pleading not guilty doesn't necessarily mean they would will deny that certain events took place, there was an awful lot of detail and admittances by the accused on the one case i've heard on jury service.
I know killing them is just as bad.
But who gives a **** I would be quite happy to torture the pair of them and not even think about it. Kill them as painfully as possible. Our country needs to bring back the death penalty there is no way a jail sentence is good enough for them.
This sickens me, how can anyone do this. I have been fortunate enough to have a god son, nephew and young cousins and to even think about anyone touching them in this manner makes me so angry.
They should be public ally humiliated and hung.

Just now? Yes.
Come to actually doing it, possibly not. I would hope if I had to be so unfortunate that I saw it happen, I would take action though. I would most likely make the wrong natural decision though.

Prison isn't a big enough punishment for such a sick, cruel act.
Yes, it's bad to think like that, but are you honestly telling me if they did that to your child, you wouldn't want to go straight over there and do something?
I think instead of the death penalty they should be publically humiliated for years. How great would it be to strip them naked, put them in the stocks and let people throw dung at them for years, and years, and years - the rest of their life infact stuck in the stocks with poo hitting their faces.

They wouldn't have been close to my child in the first place.
But my point is still that this is no more prevalent now than it was 30 years ago, just the media witchhunt is focused on this atm.
Can you honestly tell me how many similar cases you can remember in the last 10 years? (No Googling allowed)
No, I can't remember many either. But that doesn't get in the way of selling a paper does it?

£20 a week for babysitting? Good God, what did she think was going to happen.

Did anybody see that 30 minute special on Social Workers where they have an average of 40 mins per case?
It all comes down to money.
I smack my one year old daughter on the hand if she does something naughty. That is reasonable chastisement. Don't dare compare me to someone throwing a 3 year old against a wall.
You appear to be publically saying that you think you are worse than they are. Which is a very strange thing for you to do.

As harsh as it sounds imo they should both die. The death penalty for these 2 for me. This would set a precedent and possibly get people thinking twice before they beat a helpless baby to death!
