Hey guys, I was looking at the Titan Krypt a few weeks back and was considering buying it, but now, My budget has dropped, So i'm looking at the Titan Nero.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-259-OK&groupid=43&catid=1444&subcat=

I will be using it for the occasional gaming, but mostly for College work. I'll need to use programs like Visual Basic and Photoshop. Maybe also Sony Vegas.

As for gaming,I'll be playing mostly MMORPG's like WoW, Flyff, and possible Runes Of Magic. I'd also like to play the odd Free First Person Shooters like Combat Arms or Crossfire. And i'm only gonna want to play these games on Medium settings, Not expecting much more, But if they can play on high i'd play on high lol.

I'm not going to be buying £30-£40 high graphic games for it, As i'll buy those higher graphic games for my 360, So i know they will work! lol, So this PC is just to play lower graphic games when i get bored of the xbox game. I've always payed more attention to gameplay over graphics, So i'm not too fussed if i can't play on high settings, just as long as i can play without massive lag and low Frames Per Second, I'll be happy.

So what do you think guys? Will thise be able to play Lower graphic games like the ones you see in MMORPG's/ Free First person shooters? And will it be able to do video editing etc etc? Or will it struggle?

And one more question, Is it upgradable? I'm not too experienced with the hardware yet, So is it going to be possible to upgrade GFX Card and Processor in a few months time? Thanks a lot guys <3

Budget is around £650, And needs to include the Monitor and OS, Yikes! I will upgrade in a couple months (If possible)

And also, Building is not really an option unfortunately. :(

I have that system downstairs as my secondary pc, it's pretty powerful actually for gaming....have played Dragon Age, Resident Evil 5 and CC3 on it so far at 1920x1080 with no slowdown at all maxed on each.(except Resident Evil 5 only using 4xMSAA which is enough to be honest.)

My one had a 5750 in it which is slightly weaker than the 4850 included in the current one so yours will pretty much walkover WoW at 1920x1080 maxed.(unless you want shadows maxed on too but to be honest they aren't worth it in that game.)

That pc will play games far better than your xbox360 does with a nice monitor and also the upgrade options are fine unless you are planning to have more than 8GB ram otherwise the cpu/gfx card is upgradeable in the future but you will see no need for that for a while unless you are into very high end gaming.

Woah, Thanks a lot for the Useful, and fast reply! lol. Yeah i'm not too into high end gaming if i was to tell the truth, I've always thought of it more Gameplay over graphics if you know what i mean. I'd take a low graphics, balanced and fun game over and unbalanced nooby game with the worlds best graphics lol.

I'm happy to hear the PC is pretty good as it is, and even happier to hear that it is upgradable. I'll not need more than 8GB Ram i don't think, 4 should be enough for me for the next year or so anyway. :P

Cheers!

You might want to wait until Weds though incase it appears on This Week Only deals which is does now and then.

It's also a very quiet pc, you can sit right next to it and barely hear it.

I was actually quite surprised of it's performance considering my main machine has an i7 920 with a 5870 and a HP LP2475w monitor.(the reviews on this site sum it up)

Alright man, I'm not getting the money until the next monday, so if it doesn't go on offer then, I'll wait until the following Wed. :P

Thanks a lot for your help! Hopefully some others will share thier thoughts on this computer too, Sounds like it's really worth the money!

Back again after a nice sleep! lol

Anyone got any more opinions on the "Nero"?

Also, how does it look? Do those blue neon lights come with the Nero? Or is that something you buy sepratley?

Seems good for the price.

the psu is good enough for if you fancied upgrading to a more powerful gpu at any point (ive got 1 and im using a gtx460 - any top mid range gfx cards will work a treat in it)

The mobo has 4 dimm slots and the setup is using 2x2gb so uve got a further 2 slots to play with if you want to expand to 6gb or 8gb.

Its am3 which is a good shout as its ddr3 and for the future as amds new chips are supposed to be backwards compatible to a point (correct me if im wrong please... just what ive read so far) so you dont have to have a complete overhaul for a new cpu.

Theres room for overclocking too right now if you have any knowhow or want to read up - even just a little bit helps and its very easy to a point.

I dont believe the case comes with the led fans in the front and side (best to check) - the picture is just a picture of the case rather than the full setup and on all descriptions of the case it says it comes with 1 rear fan and room for a front which to me suggests it doesnt come with one at the front (although blue led fans can be bought for a couple £ and a decent 1 for a couple £ more).

edit: oh forgot to say. at the minute the system will run more games just fine. you wont get blazing framrates or run everything on ultra but it will easily run a happy medium so you shouldnt need to upgrade for a while. I will also suggest using a 64bit OS as anything below that wont recognice all your memory (3.2ghz or something the max?). if you do intend to add any more memory then a 64bit OS is NEEDED or it wont make much of a difference no matter how much you slap in.

The Nero is excellent system for your requirements. As podmonkey has staed above me, it is AM3 so you can upgrade the CPU in the future to either a quad or hex core. There are 2 spare RAM slots so you will be able to upgrade to 8GB.

The case does not come with blue LED fans as this is just the stock image from Coolermaster. The 4850 is comes with is more than capable of playing the listed games. It will fit the bill perfectly for you. Any more questions, feel free to ask.

Is the PC any good at multi-tasking? How does the processor shape up? This laptop can barely handle MSN and a couple web pages before starting to lag. If i have Windows MEdia Player, MSN and Internet browser all open at the same time, my laptop lags like hell and i get 100% CPU Usage.

Will this one be a bit better at multitasking? (This Advent laptop sucks!! It lags, it's keys are falling off, And if i have it on for more than 2 hours it gets hot enough to fry eggs on! lol)

Thats great! Looks like I'll get myself this one then! =D

It'll be a huge improvement from this laptop. This laptop is really slow and laggy at times, I get 100% CPU usage with sometimes 1 program open :S

It also overheats and cuts out, And my charger and ear phone jack have to be held together by sellotape! Never buy anything from the Advent brand! lol

Can't wait to get a half decent computer! But after this laptop, It'll feel like the worlds best computer haha.

I've heard a lot of complaints about the OCZ Gold RAM? Could anyone tell me anything about that? :(

Thanks <3 You guys have been so helpful!

Anyone know about the OCZ RAM? If not, then i guess there can't be much wrong lol, Or else people would be hating on it on this thread if they have had bad experiences with it.
