My trusty beloved Hazro HZ30W failed on me about six weeks ago, and I've been trying to get in contact with them since for an RMA (just had a reply after I sent them a letter via recorded delivery, but that's another story...).

Anyway, with my old GPU (4870x2) I can't get any kind of signal out. I just get a flashing green LED on the front panel. The same thing with my laptop. But, I just switched my GPU for a GTX480, and low and behold, I get some kind of output (albeit kind of screwy). See below...

(sorry for such crap quality pictures - taken on my phone and uploaded via facebook because I didn't have a cable to hand)

As you can see, the screen is spitting out multiple copies of the same image. The image is stretched in the horizontal direction by about a factor of two. The monitor gets recognised as "generic non-PnP monitor", and the maximum res selectable in windows is 1024*768. I can't force a higher res in nvidia control panel. I tried installing compatible drivers (Dell 3007 drivers), but no change.

Anyway... Has anyone seen anything like this before? If so, did you ever find out what the problem was? I'm assuming that the screen is just FUBAR, but on the off-chance it's something fixable I'd love to know :)

Cheers guys.

First thing I would try is factory reset (somewhere in the menu), just in case it is not detecting the input signal correctly.
Otherwise looks like a board fault.

There is no OSD :p Hazro screens are kind of minimalist. You just get an on-off button, and brightness up / down buttons. Everything else is done via software!

edit: Found an old post by Mike 1965 suggesting that the hazros can be factory reset by holding down the 'down' arrow and pressing the power-off button. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to do anything at all (the screen doesn't reset, or otherwise acknowledge that anything has been done, short of dropping the brightness).
