I'm in the market for a larger monitor. I currently have the Belinea 22" WS which has served me well.

The two monitors above are in my price range but I'm not sure I need to spend the extra to get the higer spec one. HDMI isn't that important to me so my question is, is the higer spec version that much better than the lower spec one?

Anyone have either of these?

i have a Iiyama ProLite B2712HDS, it's a top quality monitor. viewing angles are very good for an TN panel, no backlight bleed. the colours are perfect as you get for an TN panel, no ghosting... but if HDMI isn't important just get the E2710HDSD

I was tempted this 27" Iiyama, but it's the wrong resolution for me :( Would much rather have 1920 x 1200, than the 1920 x 1080. Think I'm going for the 26" monitor instead.

I'll endorse the B2712HDS as well, very good monitor for the price. I use it for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, all are excellent on it :)

Gareth170,

How deep are the black levels? Washed out grays or black? Are shadows losing their details in games etc?

I know it's not a pva monitor but just wondering.
