Finance haters gonna hate :-)

Thread is hilarious. So many people getting their backs up over this.

One thing these threads do is show the rest of the forum who the idiots are - Chiives, well done! Lol

You helped with all your advice and you don't drive

I'm gonna bow out now and run back to the bikers forum, was fun :-), maybe I'll make a video review of the purchase and post on the tube for you all

Oops, I guess Fox explaining what the salesman didn't about your 'deal' was a bit too much. :D

Fox, you don't have a clue about my financials..... So little point trying to work things out for me. I do ok thanks

As for the bonds post above, WTF :-)

If hes wrong maybe you should enlighten this thread with some facts about the deal you got.

it could stop some of the abuse or more likely fuel it further.

Either way i don't comprehend car finance it always looks bad on paper im surprised anyone uses it.

I use credit cards and i have had loans and i have a mortgage but car finanace jsut seems to be one big **** take.

I've just saved up for the car I want and got by with £500 bangers in the meantime.

What has that got to do with anything:confused::confused:. As I have stated several times before I work in the industry and as a result know quite a bit about cars.

Dude, you're not even old enough to have an NI number IIRC, how can you work in the industry unless you're washing them?

I've not posted your financials, I've posted the financials of your deal based on what you have told us.

By paying it off in 2 years time you are paying £1500 of interest in order to have the difference - £1100 - available to you for that 2 year period between now and when you pay it off. Infact as others have rightly pointed out the amount available is even less really, as there is opportunity cost through lost interest on the savings.

If it's just a simple loan secured against the car you can actually get some reasonable rates comapred to an unsecured loan from the banks.

Can you just explain what it is you do in the industry to put everyone's minds at ease?

To be fair, given the reputation of the forum I'm sure the OP knew he was muppet baiting with the thread.

Haha :D

Of course not, I was working at 13, but I'd never have claimed i was working In journalism ;)
When have I claimed I was working in journalism
I work as an unpaid assistant to a sales person at a car dealership. I'm just building up experience :)

They're referring to paper rounds and making inane jobs sound more impressive than they really are.

Like you say 'I work in the industry', when really you probably don't do much work beyond photocopying and making the tea.
