My sis had her bday yesterday and in true fashion, I went shopping last min for presents and came home with some for my self lol.

Oblivion GOTY - My local indie got it off ebay for £12 and charged me £15!!! Love that shop.
Transformers WFC - Liking it so far, the more I play it, the more I love it :D Playing on hard though so the first 2 chapters were a very steep learning curve
Just Cause 2 - Had a little gander... But will have to divulge properly this weekend
Singularity - Still in the wrapper, looking forward to it :D
Alan wake - Sod what people say, looks interesting lol

Reason for so many games... Got them all very cheap at my local indie under a membership discount :D SUPPORT YOUR INDIE SHOPS!

Let us know what Singularity is like, judging from videos it seems very underrated. Alan Wake is great too, overhyped to an extent but I do think it deserved to be more of a success than it was in terms of sales.

I got my sis a new camera, a compact one to go in her purse, bloody expensive! But very nice, also bought her 2 week year old a photo book so she can stick pictures from the camera in it for Oliver when he grows up.

Right, Alan wake, just completed chapter one, 100% my style of game, very strong on the story side and odd... Love it. Reminds me of Max Payne.

About to start singularity, looking forward to it as like said above, it seems to look like a lot of fun.

Her what? Can Oliver time-travel?

Haha! Brilliant lol, didn't spot that.

Playing singularity... Graphics are very good, seems awsome, how ever, one thing is bugging me. Yet again, the gun noises are just not great. Why is it dev's think that guns sound like pellet rifles? In real life, it is deafening.

Other than that, still playing the intro pretty much, seems fun, a little jumpy lol.

Hi wuts an indie shop plz

It's a personal business kind of shop, not major retail. As in, some little shop away from the usual high street that sells games. Most of the time, they sell really good stuff at good prices and manage to grab things that you normally wouldn't be able to in major stores.

Also, the customer experience is normally about a million times better. Have lost count on the amount of times I went to my local indie, handed a list of retro games, came back a week later and there they are lol. Few weeks back I was looking for Decent on the PS1... Text the owner, he said he will look, rang me at the end of the day saying his mate has it and doesnt want it so I could have it for a quid!
