am I being stupid or just totally miss reading this?

I just purchased a samsung c8000 - this one to be exact and in the accessories bit it says "Power cable: No"... I figured it may be a miss print but it's on other sites too...

I'm gonna reserve judgement but you see my point?

It's a moulded plug in the rear of the set.

Thats right, doesn't look like it comes with a power cable.

if it's mouleded in that's ok.... I just read on cnet that samsung dont do good power cords so I got worried.

If you have just bought a telly with no plug on it then the retailer or seller is breaking the law.

I've just bought the 40" version of the C8000 and it came with a fixed power cable.

i thought they had a figure 8 mains cable
