I have a quick ask of anyone who drinks cravendale milk. They are currently doing a promotion whereby you collect codes off the back of the labels on bottles and when you have enough you can get gifts. The most expensive item is a teapot which is a whopping 25 codes!

The girlfriend really wants to get a teapot, but we don't drink gallons of milk. So anyone who drinks cravendale but doesn't want the codes, if you would post them here that'd be much appreciated!

Yeah, sure. I'll post them once they're finished because bottles of milk in the fridge with lables ripped off will look ***** :p

Just a had quick look and that teapot is horrid!

Thank you very much, much appreciated. if you could trust me them that's be better so that no other ***** checks the thread before me! :D

I'm going to buy milk because my stock is running low. Will buy cravendale because I've never tried it.

Is it better than normal semi-skimmed?

I thought it was some kind of milk substitute for people who couldn't drink milk..... But it appears it is actually classed as milk. Doesn't it taste like water given it's 1% fat?

They do skimmed and semi skimmed, it's much the same as any other skimmed or semi skimmed milk I'd imagine.

Use to always buy the organic stuff, tried Cravendale a couple of months ago and haven't gone back.

Nah, from what I know it's just purified more than normal milk. Certainly tastes better.

Cravendale milk is filtered through fine ceramic tubes to remove almost all of the bacteria before pasteurization. This filtration process makes it last longer than standard pasteurized milk, so Cravendale can stay fresh in the fridge for up to 21 days unopened. The milk is sold in opaque white plastic bottles, preventing UV rays from affecting the taste.

Cravendale is a brand of milk produced by Arla Foods. It is ranked 43rd in the UK's top 50 grocery brands, and was the first milk brand to be officially approved as being beneficial for teeth

I've been looking with out much success recently for un-homogenised milk -- Anyone know where I can get some, the 'premium' branded 1 litre milks in tesco/asda all seem to be homogenised..

I love the pure filter Cravendale semi skimmed milk, IT DOES taste better than normal milk aswell as Tesco Pure.

I love milk, my mum goes insane and starts freaking out and throwing all these insults when I drink milk.

Well you're a bit old to be breastfeeding.

Damn straight. He is far too old to be suckling his momma's teet. I'm not surprised that his mum "goes insane and starts freaking out and throwing all these insults". If I tried that nonsense with my mother, I'd probably be arrested.

:p
