I've been looking with out much success recently for un-homogenised milk -- Anyone know where I can get some, the 'premium' branded 1 litre milks in tesco/asda all seem to be homogenised..

If you've got a Sainsbury's near you then try Boroughfields Dairy Gold Top as it's unhomogenised, costs about £1 a litre though I think.

I probably won't be buying milk again until the weekend but if I remember I'll buy Cravendale then and let you have the code.

What is this gold top people speak of? Never seen it in my life...
I think I'll try this Cravendale next time I buy milk, I like to try new things. Will give you the code if I remember.

Don't get waitrose up here... but 'thanks for the info' :D

edit: I stand corrected - apparently there is one in glasgow (and 2 in edinburgh)

Aye, there's one on Byres Road. Grt. Western Road end. It's as hellish as you can imagine, Waitrose and West End residents? Eugh.
Haha at those comments. The West End really is a horrible place.

I don't see the appeal of Cravendale, I think it's just milk that's been marketed to make it seem superior over supermarket or any other milk available.

It also appears to have more sugar in it per serving than a standard equivalent, which perhaps goes to show why some people like it more so.

I've had Waitrose organic milk before and you do get a good bit of cream on the top. You have to shake it yourself if you want it mixed.

I usually buy Cravendale as I have the kids at the weekend and if they don't drink it all it'll still be fresh for the next weekend so it's a bonus. The kids drink the full fat stuff but I usually get a small semi skimmed for myself but for some reason full fat always tastes best with Frosties or any other sweet cereal and I usually can't drink the blue top stuff.

MissChief  I thought I had accidently posted in here but then looked closely at the name and it's not me :p

I'm 3/4 of the way through my bottle, will give you the code once it's finished!

I buy one four pinter of semi-skimmed Cravendale every week - it lasts me for seven days which is great, as I don't have to keep buying ordinary milk that only lasts a few days from opening (throwing out)

They filter it more to remove the bacteria that turns milk sour/off - I read the labels too much ;)

Don't have codes on mine yet but will look out :D

oh and I remember seeing that advert with the cow in the trolley and them smashing into a truck - was indeed funny :D

I buy it too, purely because it last much longer than normal milk and I never have to throw any away. I don't find it tastes any different.
It's more expensive but as I don't waste any as it doesn't go off nearly as quickly I prefer it.

The only downside is that because the bottle is white and opaque you can't tell how much is in it without picking it up.
