ps3 on dell monitor.

I'll poss be buying a PS3 soon, and if i can i will be connecting it to my Dell Monitor (its a Dell 2007wfp).

I have the 360 connected via the VGA cable, but when i checked sony dont do a vga lead for the PS3.

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect the PS3 to this dell monitor, it has VGA and DVI ports. (for sound, i'd do the same as the 360 and run it through the pc soundcard).

This. The 2007WFP has HDCP so a HDMI to DVI adapter will work, and you'll be able to output audio over the MULTI-AV cable

cheers, had a look and found a few HDMI>DVI cables for a few £ inc postage (take it this kind of cable will be the same a normal HDMI cable no need for a expensive one??) I'll just unplug the pc dvi cable when i use the ps3, and i'll connect the red/white sound to the soundcard.

Would only be temp, as i'll will prob be getting a TV for my room at the start of next year.
