Looks good but I'm not a fan of the xbox layout. Rather have it look like that but have the same placements as the PS controllers.

I think I'd rather stick with the official Playstation controllers. They work fine in my opinion, although racing games are admittedly better on the 360's controller due to the triggers, but then, not every button on the 360 pad is analogue and the D-pad is vastly inferior.

I would definitely buy that, the PS controller is the main reason mine only gets used when absolutely necessary for PS3 exclusives. Can't stand it for FPS or racing games.

Agreed, it's exactly the same for me, I hate the PS3 controller. I find it almost unusable without a set of 'real triggers'. I'll definately be getting one of these, I'm glad they have used the xbox d-pad/analogue stick layout.

Why can't Sony release a version of their pad with the analogue stick and d-pad positions swapped?

If the build quality on these is good i'll pick one up at some point.

I have no problem with the PS3 controller myself, actually prefer it over the 360 pad. These may be good pads, but I expect you'll need to use a dongle for the wireless, which would be a deal breaker for me personally.

but I'd certainly give the Power A version a go as the controller is the only thing that stops me using the PS3 more. Just hope one of them arrives soon!

Shame they couldn't get round the need for a dongle, I expect that'll hurt sales a bit.

That one doesn't do SIXAXIS stuff though as far as I can tell, so even with a dongle I think the wireless one is the one to get.

I found one on eBay from the states but it was way too much, I'll wait until either UK retailers get hold of them, or they start trickling through via importers.
