YAY slammed Ladas. :p :D

Some of them look rather good, others look rather poo. :p

They really are nutjobs with some of the work they do on their cars over there though. I've seen some crazy refabrications going on on various forums, they just don't seem to care about how well their ideas will stand up in an accident. :D

Lada Riva/1200/1500 etc are all based on the 124 which was not a bad design for the time - double wishbones etc like a proper car.

With some very minor geometry tweaks and a set of new springs and dampers to replace the horrendous factory stuff you can really make them dance.

Like so:

Every time I hear "Toss The Feathers" I want to go out and drive sideways

^^^That's awesome :D

Crap cars = lots of fun / £

Or in their case lots of fun per Яuble :D

This one is wicked as well:

Crowd gets a rowdy at one point :D

Edit: though Youtube appeared to find it for me

Worst 'I know the shortcut for a backwards R thread ever' TBH. :p :D

I've always liked the Lada Riva. It's such an unassuming and reliable vehicle until it decides to randomly lose a wheel as happened to a friends dad!

That aside, I think these look quite nice.
