I've been looking into these as well. I'm not good with things rubbing against my ankle bones. How do you get on with the supports listed?

I've got one of these... it's brilliant. Though I didn't buy it, physio gave it to me.

I did that exact thing 3 weeks ago playing football, still struggling to walk. May as well purchase one of these now, looks like I'm going to need it.

If anyone finds some good elbow supports I'd be appreciative. I Google and Google and can't find any. Similar to the ankle ones in Thundycat's link.

Pound shop - yes a whole pound will buy you an elasticated ankle support! Cheap at half the price.

I ordered a vulkan light support for now (just general walking about house and about) and am going to show my surgeon the mcdavid support to see if he approves.

Tubigrips should not be used as a support!!!!

Ankle supports make your ankle dependant on the support and leave them week.... wish i never ever used them. Now my Ligaments are sooooooo weak I need operation to make them strong again
