Back a dosen pages i proposed Lougborough uni, but due to some building work at the venue, it wasn't viable for the past 5 weeks. The work will be finished in 3 weeks, so it could be an option again. The only downside is that term starts at the end of September, so it will be busier on campus. There was a lot of talk about location and dates, if term time isn't what people want, then it will be the beginning of December when it could be done. Though that may be better as it is a while to organise everything and at least then a date and location could be set.
I don't get why It can't be a simple LAN party why do prizes have to be thrown into the mix it complicates things and slows down how quickly the event can be arranged we can always for a laugh ask everyone to bring some old gear and host a swap shop that would be interesting

I will chuck up a couple of small prizes with my company, so don't forget to get in touch when things have moved along

That was just embarrassing
Id fired up the game maybe twice before playing and thought I could just "Wing it".
Not realising you guys were seasoned players, it all got pretty embarrassing rather quickly.
I was indeed sat in the corner rocking forwards and backwards chanting "make the tanks stop" as I got owned 1 wave after the next with you guys getting destroyed in the distance
I like playing most games but truely am rubbish at most of them
I propose we have a prize at the LAN for "Most p0wn3d"?

I would like to say... that game of COH was MUCH worse than Borderlands...
Borderlands made me look like Johnathan Wendel.

I better not come if there are prizes, it wouldn't be fair on everyone else to have one person walk away with everything!

we wern't sure we thought he'd crashed/as afk for the first 20 mins but he was trying to figure out how to
a) speak
b) do anything
i think we had to retreat across the river then push back across to recap his base/extract some engineers so they could build it on the thoer side in the end
was a brilliant game though, having to retreat and retake territory made it mcuh better tbh
