simple domain name question.

In the past i have always bought my domain name and hosting together in one bundle.

At the moment i have a domain name and hosting with vida host.

I want to buy 2 domain names that I'm going to use in the future but i don't need hosting yet.
What happens when I buy the names? do i need to park them somewhere? would vidahost do this?
Or could I link them to the hosting I have but not actually use them?

Also I want to change the domain name of my currently hosted website how easy would this be to do?

I use 1&1 for this - £2.99 a year for domain + single "holding" web page - no hosting charge

Once you have purchased the domains you just need to set the nameservers to vidahosts nameservers which are ns1.vidahost.com and ns2.vidahost.com. Add the domain in your Cpanel and your done!
