Hi All I am just wondering if there is anything to be gained in getting a 120Hertz monitor over a 60 Hertz if you are not a gamer ? as i don,t see you gain anything when watching dvds ,or do u ?
It wont just affect 3D gaming and 3D films, it will also make normal games and normal films appear to be more smooth in motion, and allow you to react faster in games due to the fact more frames are seen per second.

If you're not gaming, and don't have a great interest in 3D films, then you might be better off spending the money on a higher quality screen. Look for something with an IPS panel.
I really wish anyone would care other than you, this isn't an english essay.
anyway back to topic,
if you are buying the monitor for 3d films, you need to make sure you get a second generation 120hz monitor, the first generation do not support 3D film playback!
