LOTRO to go 'free to play' in the autumn....

Hunters are still a great class to play.. Once you trait 'Cool-Burn'(+100% dmg 6min cooldown) your hitting crits with 'Heartseeker' for over 6000+ dmg. If you combine your setup to include the trait that resets HeartSeeker on a crit with Bards Arrow your laughing, well okay maybe not the creeps I one-shot in the ettens with it ;)

It's all down to preference really, the Runekeeper is great fun but has quite a short range meaning your closer to danger...

anyways, the Guardian in Overpower stance is the coolest class to play atm end of !! :D
 
Anyone know if the free version will require a different client? As don't want to waste time downloading 14 day trial from lotr-europe if likely to change.
 
i might give this a go, there seems to be a few expansions of the game can you buy all the expansions you need in one pack like the wow battle chest, i'm not sure what i need to buy to be able to play :)

You can buy everything digitally via the codemasters site, though iirc its cheaper to buy Shadows of Angmar and Mines of Moria boxed. You can only get Mirkwood digitally now. Shadows of Angmar is the main client so get that first obviously, have a play and if you like it get the rest.

I've had a little 2 week break from the game but I'm going to be picking it up again tomorrow. May start levelling one of my alts again.
