Movie? LOL!

There's no gameplay yet apart from ingame cutscenes and magazine screenshots of some of the game's world locales.

The last major news which was a few days ago was that the game may not even come out next year.

We will just have to wait and see what there may be at this year's Tokyo Games Show.

I wont even care about XIII by then lol.

if it has any sort of connection between both XIII then fair enough but it's a huge gap between them to be released.

If it has nothing to do with XIII, then they might as well call it FFXVI maybe lol

The only thing all FFXIII games (Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation) have in common is similar mythologies with regards to the crystals and deities.

I liked that Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerberus game, it was a FPS.

For me my first ever taste of final fantasy was FF 7. I never owned it but went round a friends and played it.

Then FF9 was released, I remember getting it playing it like once got bored.

1 Month later I came back on it and played it and It is my favourite video game of all time I love FF9

Vivi to this day is my favourite video game character, he's just so awesome and powerful.

Cmon how cool is he!

:D

Also loved FFX a lot, almost cried at the end, "Omg I can't believe it's over" etc. lol.

^^ You mean Third Person Shooter! :p

And no surprise for Vivi since he is a Black Mage and a perfect image to define a Final Fantasy tradition.

FF7 has to be the one for me, that 2 hour battle at the end with sep, just had my whole household glued to the TV watching the battle, the story, the game play, battle system, everything was just great.

I wish they would remake FF7 also, same story, same battle system, just modern GFX, I still have my original game disks for FF7, I will never part with them.

Bring back FF7!!!!!!!!!!!

My best game ever!

But that's part of what makes VII so important; it brought one of the worlds best franchises (at the time) to the masses. I love VI almost as much as i love VII, but VII is what introduced me to Final Fantasy, without it i would have never even played VI, and that's part of what makes it my favourite.

Fair enough. I think a lot of people came to FF7 first and have such fond memories for similar reasons. For those that grew up with the early games, though, FF7 was a bit of a departure and took away a good deal of the charm and fantasy elements. It's obviously still an excellent game and introduced plenty of its own, but after playing FF6 in its hayday, when everything about it was cutting edge while remaining faithful to and improving upon everything the series was popular for, FF7 was a slight let down. I also hold it responsible for starting the series down an emotastic road of cringe!
