Cars you loathe

Most of it has been covered now, but I'm going to throw in: Cars that look like they should be RWD, but are actually FWD. Front biassed 4WD also counts here too.

For example:

Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT
Mitsubishi FTO
Audi TT

I guess I should also count when "new" versions of classic RWD cars are brought out and are now FWD, such as that "new Capri" concept.

My neighbor has terrible car taste, they went from a Fiat Multipla to a Dodge Calibre.

Personally I cant stand Jaguars as once they get to about 10 years old they seem to be driven by wannabe gangstars and hard men!!

Every Porsche for that matter, they're all quite frankly disgusting to look at. I've never quite been fortunate enough to step into one but aesthetically, I've hated them forever.

Many cars go through that phase before they finally graduate to becoming proper classics.

Early 90s 3-series BMWs, for example.

I absolutely loathe the Vectra in all shapes and spec. Had a rental for a weekend with all the extras, electric everything and even now I still get the urge to hunt it down and beat it to a pulp. Easily the most loathsome vehicle I've ever had the misfortune to drive.

I bet they didn't let Ed Harris drive one before he appeared in the adverts for them or he'd have demanded triple the fee for telling so many lies.

So what you are really saying is you can't stand "wannabe gangstars" that drive older Jaguars? ...not the cars themselves.

I have never actually seen that side of Jaguar ownership myself, I mostly see middle aged or older gentlemen driving them, almost without exception. At least the S-Type, XJ and the XK ...the X-Type has a rather more diverse driver base I'd say.

The wide-boy wannabe gangsters I do see in ageing luxury saloons, tend to favour the E38 7 series or the W140 S class around here, although the E class is much more popular with them than the S.

Audi's. All the gits who used to drive BMWs so badly moved over to Audi around 5 years ago. If I'm going to get cut up by someone, will almost certainly be by them..

Agreed, if I'm overtaking a line of trucks with no where to pull in, on the outside lane of the M11 it's almost guarenteed there will be a A4 glued to my bumper. He saw me 500 metres away yet still apporaches me at 100mph and doesn't start breaking until the last minute 'for effect'. He then starts to overtake me even before I've had chance to indicate and move over.

The M11 should be renamed A4. All the sales reps that used to drive Vectras have now made it and now drive A4's.
