Fox came into parents house

:confused: I'm sure it died from the blood loss rather than not being able to fly... why would not being able to fly = death?
 
Birds can't breathe properly unless they're constantly flying.

I suppose it starved as birds need to be constantly foraging to keep their energy levels up.

Urban foxes, at least in London, do seem to be getting a lot tamer, but I'd imagine that's the influence of how people behave with them more than anything, not too hard to imagine that people would throw scraps or similar to them if they've seen them.

err if i have a wasp nest i can get the council to remove it in 48h and they arguably cause a lot less agro than 2 foxes and 6 cubs ripping up everyones rubbish and stinking the place up...

personaly i dont mind them as i said, but wrote the above as course of discussion.
 
That's pretty bad although I had a much scarier experience yesterday. A mouse had set up home in my sub woofer in my office. I took it outside and was trying to coax it out. When it finally came out I **** myself. Absolute lightning. I was dancing about in the car park. :D

We had a mouse in our house some years back. After my dad had tried to catch it for ages he got so mad so he kind of kicked into the air out of frustration, his shoe flew off and hit the mouse by accident a metre away. Poor thing :p

Think i took a picture of it stuck like in a prison. He was a mad bird.

He couldnt fly away so just was lieing there on the ground waiting for take-off. Houston, we have a problem.

I'm not disputing he couldn't fly, that's usually the result of a bird breaking their wing. But they don't usually die as a result of not flying, either lack of food (days later) or something kills them in the meantime.
