Lowered cars

But you go to shows all the time where almost all the cars are low, and you don't even like them? Sorry but I can't think of a single instance where arch gap would look better

I'll agree though, roof racks for the sake of fashion and mega stretched tyres are stupid.

I've said before, arch gap looks gash unless its even. Look at the picture above, arch gap at 12 o'clock is nothing. Arch gap at 3 and 9........huuuuuge. Thus, retarded.

I don't actually. I go to shows where people present well kept examples of whatever car they have. The odd one is lowered but not to the extent in the pics posted.

i guess i love gay cars then? oh well.. better gay than a fiesta driver :O

What I drive bears no relevance to the thread. Nice try. Do you even drive??

Agreed that scirocco looks funny. I never posted a car that had been put on the floor regardless of how it looked. That evo is absolutely bang on. No doubt somebody will be along in a minute to tell me how it's compromised it's gravel rally abilities though :/

nope :) cant afford it so no point in driving yet ;)

That blue MX5 is owned by a girl and has a huge benefit from the low stance and wider wheels. The standard look is high (esp late UK models) and the wheels tuck in so far it looks like a boat mid corner.

It can be over done though, there's a lot of slammed 5's, especially in the states which literally scrape over everything. Whilst is can look good, it's just ruining a fantastic handling car.

Should fix the headlight cover as it looks crap front on.

the rear of mine is similar to yours, the front is lower though, top of the tyre in line with the arch. oddly mine still has an almost completely oe-feeling ride too

oddly it is only the rear that has grounded too despite the front subframe being less than a fist-width from the ground

What kit are you running on yours? When do we get see some pics of it too? :)

Mines a Jamex kit, however the previous owner had some custom springs made for the rear, as the back was higher than the front with the Jamex springs, so now it has a bit of "reverse rake" but it rides nice and thats with a polybushed rear. I may stick TT front bushes on the wishbones soon as the old ones are perishing now, just OE stuff on there at the mo.

But it's so comfy (for how it sits) that I don't wanna ruin it :)
