What ever he is doing he must be doing it right as he stills seems to be pretty sucessful and enjoying what he does. I think he comes across as alright as well and can be quite funny, more so than Chris Moyles. I don't understand everyone calling him a tool though, might not like his style but doesn't mean he is a tool. :/
It's because it's like with most people who don't like anyone who is different to themselves, they're instantly branded tools and should be nuked from orbit or similar, heaven forbid they do something different and be successful from it!
It's the same reason some people don't like Simon Cowell and people like him.
Exactly, Tim is taking the mick. Don't take him seriously and just enjoy the ride.

westwood's done a lot of good things for the youth and upcoming talent of this country.
Also unlike a lot of presenters he doesn't pussy foot around people he asks what he wants and take the micky out of anyone. a lot of big artists such as Jay, Eminem etc will pretty much only come on his show in the UK as he is so big.
Dizzee rascal, tinie tempah, devlin, giggs. All of these have been promoted and supported by westwood and are now penetrating the charts.
Yes he puts it on becuase he knows it generates buzz + views. Hence this thread.
From this he has gained publciity which in turn has turned into tv ads, cd's etc.
Radio 1 will never drop him as a DJ.

Not the biggest fan but he knows his hiphop, even if he kisses crap bands ass most of the time these days (it's his job, not his fault hiphop has gone **** up).
