I'm looking for an AV cabinet which will take two amps (AV and Stereo) and Xbox and Sky box.

I'd like a 2 X 2 configuration with the Xbox and Sky being on the top shelf and the two amps on the lower shelf.

The largest item is the AV amp which is 176H x 435W x 329D.

I've googled but not found anything I like so far. I'd like to hear from anyone who has something at home which will do the job :)

Just a suggestion, but you might get a better response if you provide a bit of background info; otherwise it's a case of mind reading and wild stabs in the dark which is a waste of our time and yours :)

Style: - all glass / all metal / mix

Colour

Maximum cabinet size: - width & height especially

Budget

Might also help if you posted some links to stuff that shows the kind of styles that appeal to you....

I was looking for what people already have for inspiration really as I'm not 100% sure what I want.

To answer your questions.

Style - 100% wood or with glass shelves. Not really feeling metal.

Colour - Darker wood - Like Ikea walnut

Max size - Length 130cm X Depth 45cm X Height 50cm - or around those figures.

Budget - upto £200.

Designs - Really open to suggestions here. I like chunky units but prefer stylish rather than laminated chipboard.

I'm currently using http://www.alphasondesigns.com/products.asp?ProductID=1337&CatID=63

It has a nice modern feel, and well built.

sven256 - Can you take some pics of you rack (lol) please. All the web site pictures are a little generic. Would be nice to see one in a real world environment :)

what about something like this?

Bang on your spec bar 30 quid over.

EDIT two reccomendations for the same brand in 2 minutes lol

I've just been reading up on those for the last 30 minutes :)

The slightly larger (wider) model can be had for the same price too!

I can send you some over the trust if you want, but the room is a bit of a mess atm as it's having a full makeover. So there is half painted walls, old flooring, wires everywhere etc.

Let me know if you want them sent over.

You can fit it, but take into account that amp is over 20cm high, so a bit taller than yours. So there would be a quite a bit more clearance.
