Is it normal for people to not reply to your posts in the members market?

For instance, one of my recent posts was replying to someone looking for a thermochill 120.3 rad with 25mm spacings (which i have) and no-one had replied to his post so i decided to step up and tell him i have one if he is interested.

I posted that one day after he originally posted the thread searching for it (5 days ago), no-one else has posted and he hasn't replied to my post.

This is how the other 9 different threads have gone.. Is this normal because it seems a little rude to me?

Could be that they've forgot? I've forgot about my MM threads in the past.

I have missed some in the past, due to clicking new posts, and getting distracted half way through. Its usually a day or so later when I see it.

I forget sometimes that I've put them there, should really subscribe to them.

He probably has forgotten to be honest. I post to wanted threads all the time, then the OP replies and i forget

Also done this before. I now subscribe to my new thread with instant email notification. I think this should be the forum default for MM if it is possible?

Depends on the seller really i guess. If I am selling, I don't subscribe and i will check every hour. YES I AM SAD!

I always post Wanted threads..then either buy from somewhere else, or decide to not buy it at all.

I dont bother replying to the thread, cos i dont really care...no reply = thanks for the offer but no thanks!
