yeh symobol of peace and all that, but also a symbol of distruction and pretty s***ty times.

either way faith or no faith , most of the western world have it down as one thing only (nazis) for a good reason, i thought a lot of places in europe/america had some sort of silent ban on this?
i dont know if you can actually get the police involved...i think its pretty tactless either way.

depending on where you live it might be safer for the family involved if you do call the police to raise a concern - bc theres a lot of people out there that will jump on this and properly see it as a way to linch mob /harass the family. which is not good of course.

if there new to the country they might not quite 'get' why its frowned upon , and i dont think any of us want to be witnessing the next 'ethnic family attack' on our 6 o'clock news any time soon!

There's a difference between a Nazi swastika and a Hindu one... it's not the same as putting Nazi paraphernalia up all over your garden.

I can say with a fair bit of certainty that they'll be grand. Only me and the house the other side can see it. I'm not going to form any lynch mobs being the pacifist that I am (ho ho) and the folks the other side aren't going to either.

I personally would rather the Police spent their time protecting this family's right to do whatever they wish. The fact that people are not edumacated enough to know that it doesn't only suggest naziism isn't their fault.

in this society we have kids under the age of 16 knifing people for nothing, if you noticed i said 'depending on where you live' if he lives in a good neighbourhood then fine, but many of us dont have that luxury and have idiots that will start on somebody for nothing, let alone having what they will see as 'nazi' symbols wrapped around there house!

its called being sensible and not getting on some sort of 'im cleverer then you attitude' as that wont help them if an incident accured.

fact is the OP thought it was nazi symbols and i dare say if he is thinking they are then there will be others in the neighbourhood with the same thoughts.

Whoops, bit of a miscalculation there mate. good to know OcUK is the first to hear about any potential Nazi plots though, you heard it here first!

I walked right up to the wall and give them a big beaming "Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Blain."
I might as well have been talking to the wall.
To be honest, that's where you went wrong in my books. I don't know any of my neighbors and I have hundreds of them (apartment block). If someone was that friendly here we'd assume we were about to be mugged :D.

Aren't you the well informed one

Why didn't you think to Google Swastika before posting this ignorant rant
lol cockhausen.
It wasn't an ignorant rant. It was a tongue-in-cheek account of my ignorant surprise.

Hope your illness doesn't affect your ATCO license mate.
It did but I'm back at work now! :)

Yup, the south of England is very different to back home.

don't take this the wrong way scuzi, and i might be wrong, but don't you, like, hate the gays?

B@
Not at all! I actually volunteer for a charity for whom the vast majority of their clients are gay.

I have spoken to a chum in the CPS Scuzi.

Will you accept a caution for incitement to cause racial hatred via t'internetz ?
Hmm I guess so. As the next favour could you please close this thread? Thanks buddy! :D

Send the Irish to the ovens.
As long as it's a microwave oven I'm cool with that. Baked potatoes done in the microwave are superior.
