Apple Bumper

Having got my free bumper, I really like it now. I can slap my phone down on a desk or whatever and not worry about it. Also, it stops it slipping off the sofa, and now I can even put it on the dash of my car and it stays put :)
 
The thing with the bumper is, it looks like it's a part of the phone and not something foreign. The design is perfect in my opinion.

Took a look at my parents ones they got through and they just look awful. Just look like a bit of packaging that you forgot to take off the phone. It was some "Incase" case.
 
The one thing that annoys me about the bumper is that with it on, all the fingerprints and marks don't get rubbed off the screen any more when I slide it into my pocket

If it's one of those that cover the back and sides of the phone then I have to agree with you, those cases look terrible. Especially given how the phone itself looks.
 
Well mine arrived this morning. It's okay for a freebie (I couldn't justify spending 25 quid on one) so we'll see how it goes.

I suppose the only issue I have with it so far is that there is a slight bit of movement in the case, especially around the bottom, which cheapens the feel of the phone to me. This is the first iPhone case I've ever used so I'll probably just get used to it.
 
I managed to get 3 black bumpers absolutely free from Apple during all the antenna commotion. I kept the one and sold the other 2 and made £50! Lavely jably :)

1st Bumper: Bought myself and got refunded later automatically by Apple.
2nd Bumper: Managed to pry one out the customer support team before the official announcement on the Free Cases.
3rd Bumper: Tried the iPhone Case Program app for a laugh and it worked! Arrived 3 weeks later.
 
For those reporting slight movement/creaking in the bumper, mine was the same, but after a week or so of usage it seems to fit very snug with no signs of movement.
 
Well, I've got the bumper at long last. If I had payed £25 for this I would not have been happy!

Seems to do the job, but my only the things that annoy me...

* The buttons rattle
* I can see it's already lifted some of my invisible shield up
* You can't see the lovely sides anymore
* When it vibrates all I can hear is rattle
