Vegetarian Restaurant / Cafe in Manchester

can anyone recommend a good one??

i'm not a vegetarian, but whilst at uni i went on a few dates to the Egg cafe in Liverpool. and i really liked it. now i'm back at home, i would like to know if there is something similar (i'm sure there is) in Manchester that i can go to....?

There was a very good one in Rusholme when I was at uni there, can't remember the name of it then but its called "The Greenhouse" now.

Worth a try.

Yes, there is one by me but as I'm almost a carnivore I'll have to check what it's called.

This is run by a mates mum and really nice.

There's also the one over the road, oklahoma is it? very nice.

And there's 8th Day Cafe on oxford road.
 
8th day is quite good, though not the cheapest. iirc, Fuel in Withington is Veggie too. The one in Rusholme (Greenhouse) always looks derilict whenever I go past, and freinds who have eaten there said that the food was quite bland and overpriced.

Must admit I left uni in 2005 and havent ate there since 2002/3 so might not be up on the current affairs :)
