Blackberry Curve 8250 for 9700

hi all,

upgraded today with orange and i really wanted the blackberry and i heard rave reviews about the Curve 8250, now dont get me wrong im digging what im seeing so far, but the screen isnt much to be desired, and nor is the build quality, i believe orange have a 7 day trial period with all new phones right? so i shouldnt have no problem exchanging for a 9700?

Straight swap? I doubt it.

Also the 8520 I presume is what you are referring to. It's only really an option if you don't want to spend enough for a £300 phone but still want BIS facilities. Otherwise go for the bold.

Just rang if im not happy monday then i can straight swap for any other handset

so bold 9700 it is

told them i think its ok but not as good as the bold, and id prefer an iphone or a bold, so they said in that case ring monday and they'll give me a shipping address so i can swap since im away on business this weekend!

I assume you mean pay for an upgrade? Rather than just straight swap?

I was thinking of getting an 8520 on a cheapo contract but I couldn't deal with QVGA screens for long messages, plus I don't want to get left behind on OS5 when the 9700 is being upgraded, ordering a 9700 soon

If they're willing to give the 9700 on the same tariff, it just goes to show by how much they undersold you the original contract.

I pay a very high amount anyway i can get any phone i want so i originalluy wanted the curve but gonna change it to the 9700 because im still in the cooling off period?
