hello there im looking at buying a GTX 470 and am unsure between the asus and the msi models. Is anyone better or they the same bar from msi's 'military grade' parts?

Military grade is just marketing tbh. I'd get the asus personally. Great price, looks fantastic and of course, good warranty.

It is a bit suspect that they make a point of military grade components but are dead stingy on the overall warranty period, probably the Afghan military.

It says 2yrs for the MSI which seems to be the norm, the Asus is 3yrs, Zotac 5yrs, it's just you'd think if MSI were so confident about their "military grade" components then they'd give 3-5yrs too.

well being military.it might get blown up by a IED which would invalidate the warranty

well,they are the same price but you get 3 years warranty with the asus.
