/sigh I should have realised that saying something bad against a drink driver in a police trashing thread on a motoring forum was suicide
The point no one else has made about your original comment, and the one that is probably more important. Does the fact the driver being a potential drink driver make the fact that other people's property (gardens and walls) being damaged is acceptable as the original driver got his just desserts? Seems bizarre that
They should both be arrested in my opinion for careless/dangerous driving and immediately thrown out of the force. If Joe Bloggs did this, he would lose his license and would recieve a hefty fine however because it was two different people dressed in black and white in possession of a police badge - they will get a slap on the wrist and maybe won't be allowed doughnuts in the staff room for a few weeks.

Well if the facts are as written they need a bow lock ing of the highest order and some serious demotion. If they are in traffic they will spend most of their life lecturing so they need some of their own medicine and also a lesson that no matter how much training you have it doesn't make you skilled......just well trained.

I feel sorry for the owners of the houses, they didn't deserve that, but the dirver got what he deserved, would have been more amusing too see it handed over to top gear like that drug dealers one though

If that was my garden or car, I would want to be the one to tell them that they're fired.
Oh and i wish these articles would get the title right. It's a 4 door saloon car, not a sports car.
