if a bungalow has a cellar, and its converted into living space ( bedroom, bathroom etc etc ) and has stairs going down into that cellar, is the bungalow now a house ? :D

ive not been drinking nor smoking, if i had, the question would be a lot more mind blowing believe me ! lol

When I asked my mate Chris in work he said it was a good question, but he too didn't know the answer

the deeds will class it as a bungalow. never seen a bungalow with a cellar as i wouldn't put the two togethor because of the foundations required though it is possible. bungalows are rarely built these days due to them taking the same floor space as a two storey house so many have the attic converted in light of this but the deeds will class it as a bungalow, the for sale advert will class it as a bungalow with a loft conversion

that's what i think anyway
