I think mines on 36mpg after a 1,000 trip up to Scotland and back, that was with a lot of spirited driving as well as I was late for a Ferry

Good thing is this sort of car can do that without batting an eyelid.
I found my 330d touring a bit slow at stock, it always felt like it should be a bit faster so I had it remapped. After the remap they really wakes up and feels pretty fast, there where a couple of mags have tested them at 6s to 60 dead.
The boot space is Very handy, it may be small for an estate but that's also a positive, when your driving it it doesn't feel like a massive wallowing estate, most just a normal car with more boot space. I've had 3 road bikes + 3 adults and a lot of kit in there totally fine, also moved 6 dining chairs in one go and also managed to get a full size foosball table in the back the other week so it's still a very useful size.
Driving it's pretty dull really, fairly accomplished but caries a bit of weight and you can tell it's been setup for most of it's life sat on the motorway, m-sport suspension is pretty firm but bushes etc wear out fast. It tramlines something rotten on the motorway when driving in lorry ruts, I just sit in the middle/fast lane now as it's pretty disconcerting getting chucked 1/2 metre sideways when they appear
I'm looking to sell mine soon, been meaning to for the last 6 months but never gotten around to it as it's actually a handy car to have around. The problem I have with it is that it doesn't make me want to just go out for a drive.
I'd deffo test drive a 330i as well as a 330d if you get a chance, the 330i should be more fun with not much less mpg. 330d really suffers off boost.
