Hey,

So when sandy bridge is released im going to start building a new rig and of course i want to do something new which is water cooling so far I have a XSPC 120.3 rad and a Liang Li 18w pump with an acrylic reservoir top.

Because im young and money comes at random I'm buying parts which I can get before sandy bridge is released so next is the case. Obviously the case needs to support a 120.3 radiator but I also want plenty of space to work in with a windowed side panel for looks and to check/maintain the water cooling system.

Basically the 800D was my first choice because after reading all of the reviews and people's opinions it serves all of my needs but its a bit pricey for what it is. Next was the 700D which is a much better price but no side window (anyone know if you can buy the windowed side panels seperately?).

Now im looking at alternatives which are cheaper such as the HAF 932 and HAF X, I know the 932 supports a 120.3 rad but im not sure whether the HAF X does it seems like it should because it supports x2 200mm fans on top which should be able to fit the 360mm long rad (So does it?).

Can anyone suggest any other alternatives? Hell I might even go with the Antec Skeleton.

the fortress2 doesnt fit watercooling in without modding.

what about the ATCS

much classier than an 800d and fits the same amount of stuff in?

that is the only other "out of the box" watercoolign case available unless you start cutting up lian lis

^^no its not.

cm690 ii advanced.
i have a 240mm rad at the top and a 120mm rad on the side attached to the hdd cage, i also have a res and obviously pump with all the tubing nicely inside with no squashing whatsoever and that includes 5 fans, 7 hard drives, 1 cd drive....such a good case.

no modding whatsoever required, all holes and everything are just where u need them to be!

Huum I might as well go with a 700D if I was going for the ATCS 840. The ATCS looks very smart on the outside but the inside is another story (No black interior :() and no window.

Guess I could have a nose around the MM for a second hand 800D.

the cm 690 ii adv has all the features you want at a great price? dont know why your ignoring this pick??
just seems like ur set on an 800d so you might as well get that.

The ATCS 840 is meant to be very good for watercooling :) I have seen a few builds with it. It's a very nice case also, with LOTS of space. Quite classy too.

It even comes with mounting brackets for a triple rad and it can be mounted in the roof. And you can fit a dual rad in the bottom (you do need to cut a little bit, but not too much).

It is a very nice case but it needs to support a triple rad.

Thanks for the link Marvin :)

After having a look at all of the cases that was in Marvin's link I've decided that i will get the ATCS 840. It just seems perfect for what I need and the lack of black interior and no side window can easily be sorted by a few simple mods to the case :)

I think I'm just going to mod the side panel and put a window in it with some black tinted acrylic.

Might also spray paint the outside to make it look a bit less plain.
