Infamous 2 PAX gameplay

After the trailer a few weeks ago with the new old Cole, as the fans wanted old Cole back there is some gameplay footage from PAX. It looks a lot better and cole has a few new powers and proper melee, may even be using the U2 engine as it looks a bit like it. Anyway heres the Vid,

did you see an earlier video where cole created an electrified twister that basically sucked cars and the rest of the scenery up while he was fighting an helicopter? now that was a sweet looking skill.

It's developed by an independent company, however they've only developed for sony platforms since 2000.

Looks good to me, glad they brought back the old cole.

Looks great so far, liked the 1st a lot but it felt very generic. This looks much improved

Oh aye, but what's interesting is it's a second party developer who, afaik, hasn't signed any existing exclusivity deals or taken any payments... they just happen to develop for Sony.

Incredibly rare indeed.

The original came out prior to my PS3 owning days, and I've enough 'new' games to play through. I did play the demo however, and this looks even better.

don't know about you guy's but i loved the soundtrack of infamous ,hope it's the same person doing the second one

More fun maybe, but good had the much better latent ability of absorbing health from enemies when you attack them. It made runthroughs in higher difficulties much, much easier.

Plus of course nothing quite beats the lightning missles. L1 + triangle iirc, followed by a standard bolt blast to give them a target

Oh indeed, i forgot about those. By far the most satisfying weapon in the game.

Launch 6 into the sky, step out, zap a fella with one quick shot, watch the carnage commence.

SO satisfying, god i loved Infamous.

[EDIT] OH! And! And! It was also awesome to launch a missile into the sky, shockwave an enemy into the air, wait until he was REALLY high, then give him a quick zap, which was then met with a missile from above and a very sharp landing.

I enjoyed the first. I'll be getting this but will probably wait untill it drops to the magic £17.99 price that most games do.
