asking too much from a grand?

The new range of Panny plasmas that we're hearing about at IFA in Germany have begun to show mkv support over usb which is a nice addition as it's something LG has had for a while and with Panasonics superior plasma technology (hopefully with more Kuro tech this time around) the TVs will be sweet.

Only problem is they'd almost certainly be out of your budget at 50" + !!

And the fact they aren't widely available just yet - the GT20 is supposed to be out soon though if I recall correctly!
 
mmm i see, well as with PCs one always stretches his budget haha, so what panny sets should i be looking at then, if it really is work it, considering that the 790 LG can be had for under 700. Btw does that sammy have mkv support?

go take a look at the panasonic store and compare the different models for yourself.

You can spent £2000 on a 42" if you want the top end panasonic model. Or £600 if you want the cheapest.

Decide for yourself if the more expensive models are worth it :)
