In Kick Ass, leading into 'Bad Reputation' during the Hit Girl corridor scene, there is another tune playing that I just can't place. It sounds familiar though.

I don't think it's anything in the soundtrack listing... anyone got any ideas what it is?

From 30s through to about 1.08 before Bad Reputation starts.

edit - comments on that suggest it was written for the movie, sounds similar to Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, which is what it was probably making me think of.

Doesn't sound at all like Kryptonite, and Shazam doesn't know either :(

It's not even listed on any of the various track lists for Kick Ass.

I'm guessing it was done specifically for the movie?

Edit: I actually got the Blu-ray yesterday and watched it, fantastic film.
 
For some reason it always reminds me of that bit near the end of November Rain before Slash's (second?) solo, however they don't really sound anything alike.
