Earlier this week i finally bought my corsair h70, and i have to say after spending an hour taking my pc apart, cleaning it and installing the h70 I'm very happy with the results.

I used to run my q6600 @3.6ghz (1.344v) with an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 pro rev1 and was load temps of around 60 degrees. I was pleased with this, but thought i'd quiet down my rig a bit with some watercooling.

I wasn't prepared to spend £120+ on a custom loop so i lumped for the h70 (delivered next day - thankyour OCUK!). My system is now sitting around 45 degrees after 5 hours of prime95. I have to admit i'm really suprised by the massive decrease :D

Thats a very good chip you have there! How much voltage you had to apply in bios to get 1.344? Is your load temps while running prime is 45C?

The temp is the highest core temp according to real temp.

I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow when i have time run prime95 for a few hours.

I'll find out the voltage that's set in the bios too (i have a nasty feeling that voltage is set to auto...)

Edit: and i'll also find out the VID

Man I swear, everytime I read about low temps on here, people are over exxagerating it.

45C @ load with 3.6ghz? using a H70? Jog on.

i cant get close to 3.6 with 1.344

if you had the voltage on auto i thought it would have set it a lot higher than that
