Hi

I am building a PC for my dad using the PC-Q07B case. I will be using the Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 board with a Core i3 530.

What I would like to know about is cooling. Will the Intel Heatsink and Fan that comes with the CPU be adequate for this or will it be best to get a decent cooler. If so which ones will fit in this case?

Onboard graphics will be used and there will be no overclocking.

Thanks

The heatsink and fan supplied with the cpu is perfectly adequate for use in this build.
You wont have to worry about buying something else at all.

i agree with the above, I built a nice little pc for a customer a few weeks ago using the q07b as the basis of the build (which contained a core2 cpu with stock cooling), as long as you aren't planning on crazy overeclocking and a chunky GPU then the cooling is adequate.

I clocked my i3 530 to 3.6ghz and the stock cooler was still adequate (and I have a ati 5750 in there).
That said the noise drove me nuts so I am now running it with a scythe shuriken and I recently installed a i5 750

Ok thats good, I will leave it with the stock fan to start of with. It it is too noisy for him I will then change it.

Thanks for your help guys.
